Took a drive over the weekend down south. Its warming up, and the ice is melting! Looks like we're leaving Alaska towards the end of summer. Just trying to go see some stuff that we’ve been putting off.
We had a good time. We spent a morning carving away at a chunk o' ice at the Museum of the North in Fairbanks. I'm sure its a puddle now. Something we both would like to do again.
Not a day goes by without finding Jason Hargrove with brush or pen in hand. His artistic mind is always searching, reaching, manipulating and creating to make sense of his world. It is a compulsion that gives us a window into his unique way of seeing issues and situations that affect him, and us, as he works them out on canvas or board.
Committed to sharing his art with the public he has taken part in solo exhibits, two-man shows, group exhibits, demonstrations and competitions as well as both public art and installation art.
